Privacy Policy
The Elmwood Institute web site collects personally identifying information only when users specifically and knowingly provide such information (during course registration for example).

Your E-mail address is added to our electronic mailing list so that, from time to time, we can send you course updates, and other pertinent information. Elmwood recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of personally identifying information collected about you, our students. Personally identifying information includes your name, email address, credit card information, and any "click stream" data which tracks how you use an online service. Our privacy policy includes the following:

1. Notice. We will notify you as to the types of personally identifying information we are collecting about you as well as the uses we intend to make of that Information. For example, we need to collect and store your name, address and other basic Personally Identifiable Information to provide you with the course or any other offering you requested, and for billing purposes.

2. Collection and Security. We will only collect this type of personally identifying information to the extent deemed reasonably necessary to serve our legitimate business purposes and we will maintain appropriate safeguards to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of the Information.

3. Use of Information. Elmwood Institute uses personally identifying information to verify and approve applications and course registration. All student information is kept confidential and will not be released to third parties.
